MABS Volunteers Participation Day 2026

On 1st November, MABS held its second Volunteers Participation Day at the Port Hotel in Elche.

The day gives volunteers from across MABS’s wide-reaching teams an opportunity to come together, share experiences, exchange ideas, and meet new people.

This year, attending volunteers heard from those who carry out specific roles in our patient-facing activities and learned how we generate the funds needed to pay for our services.

We also had a lively discussion to outline the expectations and boundaries of our soon-to-be-formed Befrienders role.

The points raised will be used to create a comprehensive role description before we begin our recruitment campaign.
