On Sunday, 15 September, a charity cricket match and traditional afternoon tea took place at the Woodbridge Oval in Albir on the Costa Blanca.
A fun softball game kicked off the afternoon, watched on from a packed-out terrace.
The afternoon tea offered a selection of finger sandwiches, homebaked cakes and of course, scones, strawberry jam and fresh cream accompanied by a glass of cava and pot of fresh tea.
There was also some live entertainment from Tim Ames, Jamie Somers and Wendy Tyler.
Local businesses donated a vast array of raffle prizes for the event and the afternoon raised a grand total of €1550.
